We were swimming with our eyes closed. Using the warm morning sun line on the water to follow. We direct our face inline with the heat (a kind of invisible transit) and then swim blindly in that direction. We can feel the water holding us. Can sense its sublet movements, flow and energy. As bodies we separate out on our own line of warmth. We don’t speak; we listen attentively to the water and the sound of our bodies cutting their way through its surface. But despite the cut we are still held there, our bodies are buoyant.
